The Live Betting section in the Unibet mobile-betting app and website is fantastic. We found it easy to approach through the app menu that shows you all the current events that are happening in real time. It is also very useful to see the game statistics and live updates once you select a specific event.
There are also Future Bets, some great Parlay and other Multi-Betting offers and the really cool Bet Builder section which allows you to build your own Custom-Bets.
What we noticed and really loved about Unibet online sportsbook was that there is something for everyone. The casual, beginner punter will find a huge selection of options to choose from in popular and straight-forward bets, just like the experienced bettor will find many special betting options, on both popular and niche markets.
The bets are easy to find on the Unibet through the menu that although requires some scrolling at times, gives you a very comprehensive and straight-forward list of bet options based on markets, live events, about-to-start, popular sports and more.
Unibet Rewards
One thing we did look for all over the Unibet betting app and couldn’t find information about was the loyalty and rewards program. So for now, we sadly assume that Unibet does not have a rewards program in place for its New Jersey online sportsbook. We hope Unibet will put a rewards program in place soon, as this would certainly be expected from such an experienced operator as Unibet.
Design and Usability
Unibet’s software and infrastructure is powered by the Kambi Group, which used to be a Business-to-Business arm of the Kindred Group, but went out on its own in 2014. What it does mean that to date, Unibet still enjoys a powerful technical-infrastructure that was built for, and with Unibet in mind. Kambi’s technology is proven to be strong, given it also powers the DraftKings Sportsbook in New Jersey, so Unibet hit the ground running.
The Unibet New Jersey sportsbook interface, and entire experience for that matter, is very similar to Unibet’s worldwide brand, which is originally Nordic and has its influence from the clean, if not somewhat minimalistic design.
The Unibet green and white brand and logo colors are evident all over the Unibet betting app, with game options appearing pretty clearly. The Bet Slip opens in a black box will appear with the odds, potential payout and a clear, big Place Bet button. We also liked the Bet Builder feature, and the fact that you can place multiple bets on one slip. So far, we found the Unibet betting site, also app very functional and intuitive.
We also found in the Unibet website and app a useful drop-down menu that drops down in black (again) over the app screen, and gives you the Live Right Now, and Starting Soon bets. Further down on this menu, there is the option to scroll down based on popular bets, sports markets, etc.
Like the rest of the Unibet sports-betting app, the Live Betting section is again simply laid out, with easy scroll down that gives you options to click on clear green keys (which show odds on them) of first scoring play, team to score, team to win and more. We were really impressed with the tons of options for bets, a lot more than the market standard.
Unibet Mobile Site and App
In addition to the main, desktop client, the Unibet sportsbook also offers a great mobile-customized site, which you can access through a browser on nearly all smartphones and mobile devices. Unibet also offers an iOS sports-betting app so you can install and use Unibet on your iPhone and iPad, as well as an Android app to be used on Android phones and devices.
For browsing through individual sports and matches, the Unibet mobile betting-app provides a layout that we really liked, showing odds and results on a tennis ground in the background, or soccer scores shown on a soccer field, etc. For an app layout that is mostly rigid and functional, this was a nice surprise. All the cool features and benefits from the Unibet website made their way to the app, like the wide variety of bets offered, functional betting slip, bet builder feature and more.
